Default Standard house hold in online casino slots?

Can someone give me an idea of what the standard house hold is with online casino slots? I know that with land based casinos they hold anywhere from 12 - 20% on casinos located on the main strip and 5 - 12% in the older casinos.

I never really knew what the values were for online casinos and I'm interested in knowing.Anyhow it's not that important but if anyone could shed some light on this I'd be interested in knowing!

The house odds in online slots games and other fixed odds games such as lottery games and scratch card games is pretty standard I beleive within casinos that are powered by the same software providers. For example I think that all Microgaming casinos will conform to the same payout percentages for all casinos that use this platform. In general I've read that the house hold at online casinos is generally between 6 and 8% on slots games so it's still generally better then what you'd find in land based casinos. I've played in some casinos abroad before and I swear they have the house holds jacked up to like 20% so playing online is definitely better in most ways then playing in land based casinos as far as I'm concerned.

I did however hear at one point that casinos that are powered by RTG's software aren't as controlled and that they allow their operators to change the payout on games something that I wouldn't be too keen on knowing. Apparently though the settings are still even controlled to the point where they have a few options for payouts and can't drop the payout on games to say 50%.

I've always had a gut feeling as well that online casinos just have better payouts then that of games like slots that are found in land based casinos.

I find that I can play longer on the same amount that I deposit over when I play in Vegas or other places that I used to go. My personal preference is really playing online!

The odds regardless though even with the above said is still far better online then what you'll find in land based casinos!

Online casinos do have far less of a house hold so the money you deposit and play with will ultimately be stretched out more then if you were to be playing in a land based casino.

It varies from slot game to slot as well it's not just like there's an overall fixed value for slots. I believed your averages are probably right but I'm certain that online casinos have games within their catalog of games where the payouts can go as low as say 85% but as high as 97%. So it definitely varies! I think that the average payouts are closer to the values however that you guys have been discussing in this thread.

I agree with the information here as well and believe online casinos to be paying out on average around 97%. Some casinos may still have the audited payout percentage certifications issues by PriceWaterHouseCoopers that they used to do a number of years back.

Most casino operators call it the percentage payout or return to players. RTP varies depend on the games and how operator set it.
